I am so excited to share this encounter. Again, not because it is any better than all the other encounters, it was just such a unique way I met the the author of this encounter. A year ago, I tried to get rid of an auto responder on Twitter because no one was responding back. Nothing I did would cancel this service. Little did I know it was God that would not let me cancel. So, I changed the auto responder to ask every person who followed me on Twitter, “How can I pray for you?” Probably 25% of the people who receive this message respond. I am always surprised how open they are in their request. One day, about a month ago, I got a response that has changed my life. You will hear that part another day. Today, you will get to meet my new friend.
I was sitting in my chair behind my desk in my small office. Four of my friends, and older brother, were with me. We were talking about many things, like cars and the internet. It was early evening, and we were drinking Nescafe together and having some biscuits. While talking, I felt something not right happening to me. First, I thought, maybe I need to drink some water. It was like something was in my throat. I did not tell anyone that I was feeling bad. I told them I needed to get some water from the mini market. I purchased the water and returned to my office as normal.
After I drank the water, I still felt something was wrong. I told my friends that I forgot something in my apartment and needed to get it. My apartment is just about 5 minutes away. I went out and they stayed there waiting for me. On the way, I stopped at the pharmacy, and purchased some aspirin. By this time I was worried what was happening to me. I took one tablet while I was in the elevator going up. I live on the 8th floor. I truly was scared. I kept thinking to myself, what is happening to me?”
When I arrived to my apartment I felt even worse, so I splashed some water on my face, and laid down in my bed. The pain just kept getting stronger. I was so scared. I could not get in any position that would relieve the pain.
All of a sudden I heard someone telling me in my ear, “Go to your neighbors.” My bed was in the corner of the room, behind the bed was a small window, and on the right is the wall. After I heard the voice telling me to go to my neighbors, I turned my face to the wall.
I saw a man, He was really bright white, also wearing white, and He was very clean. He was standing between the wall and the bed. It is impossible for anyone to be there in that small place. He repeated telling me go to my neighbors. I stared at Him wondering, who is He?
It was unbelievable. In my mind He was telling me, “I am Jesus. I am helping you.” Honestly, I was not a religious person. I was raised Muslim, but I was just living my life very normally. I looked at him, He was not smiling, yet not angry. He was different than any man. He was like a man that makes you happy when you look at Him. I really can’t describe His face. No one can describe it, but i could tell He was very nice and very good. He was not fat, nor short, maybe taller than most people. His hands maybe larger, and His face is very beautiful. A trusting face. I forgot the pain, and everything else, but I was thinking at the same time, why did Jesus come to save my life? Why is He telling me to go to my neighbors?
I believe He gave me the strength to get up from the bed. I said, “Who is here?” Then I went to my neighbors without remembering how I got there. All I remember, was pressing on the bell, and the wife opened the door. I truly don’t know how everything happen. I am sure that someone helped me to go there, and He was Jesus.
The next day I woke up, and there were many pipes in my chest and hands. I was in the hospital. The first thing I heard from the doctor, was him saying to me, “It is impossible that you are still alive! People who have this condition never live more than five minutes.” I was still wondering later on what had happened. I asked another doctor, “What does that mean?” He said, “Yes, it is like a miracle you are alive. You had a heart attack in the main artery.”
That was five years ago. I know I saw Jesus. I was not dreaming. He was real. He let me feel safe and feel good. He was very nice and good. He is the best thing that ever happened to me. I am not that young. I am 52 years old, and now I feel I am 35. I don’t take any medicine. I feel very good. I run, I swim, I do everything better than before.
I remember everything as if it happened to me yesterday. He let me feel like the Christians, and now I feel I am a Christian, but I was not before that time, not before I saw Him. I told myself, I have to be a Christian after all that happened to me.

My friend shared this story with my via twitter. I felt so humble when he then shared this next part with me…
Jesus gave me something new. I became very happy inside after I told you this experience. It was a secret in my heart, and I could not tell it to anyone in my country. Now I feel more free that I told you. I thank you from my heart. Please forgive me, I can feel tears in my eyes, whenever I remember that moment. Yes, I believe in Jesus more and more and I like Him and I love him. He saved my life. I need Him in my life.
I need you to pray for me for everything. I am not rich man, nor poor man. I like all people and they all like me, thank God for that. I don’t need anything, all I need is you to pray for me for everything, and for the peace in all the world. Thank you again for giving me the chance to tell you what was hiding in my heart, and for the courage to tell all of this. May Jesus be with us.
